Tradition trifft Innovation

The new Alessi collection for autumn/winter 2024 brings back the iconic designs of Alessandro Mendini in a fresh form. The well-known Anna G. and Alessandro M. corkscrews have been reworked and equipped with innovative bio-composite materials such as AlkiPaper®. This choice of material combines sustainability with traditional craftsmanship and raises the objects to a new ecological level. Renowned designers from the worlds of fashion, graphics and art, such as Arthur Arbesser and Fulvia Mendini, have given the products new, eye-catching designs that emphasise both the artistic and functional side of the Alessi brand.

New interpretations of well-known classics

The limited editions of the corkscrews, which are equipped with new graphic elements, offer collectors and design lovers exciting new features. Studio Temp, for example, designed the “Liquid” series, whose glowing details are only visible in the dark, inspired by the career of a radiologist. These creative influences from unexpected areas give the objects a unique depth and expand the perception of what everyday household objects can be. The exclusive collections, limited to nine numbered pieces, make the products particularly desirable.

Timeless elegance realised in a modern way

The Alessi collection shows how traditional craftsmanship and modern design blend harmoniously to create timeless and future-orientated pieces. Each object combines artistic freedom with technical precision and makes a valuable contribution to a more sustainable future. Alessi remains true to itself by reinterpreting the essence of design in each collection while meeting the growing demands of the modern world. The blend of innovation and tradition makes this collection a worthy successor to earlier successes and an important step towards responsible design.

Functionality meets design

In addition to the redesigned classics, Alessi is expanding its collection to include practical household appliances with a modern design. The portable lamp “Tsumiki”, designed by Studio Medum, offers a flexible and stylish lighting solution with its magnetic base and rechargeable battery. Equally impressive are the citrus juicer and the “Toru” toaster, both designed by Studio Nendo. These appliances are made from high-quality materials such as stainless steel and thermoplastic resin and combine minimalist design with practical functionality. Alessi thus demonstrates how aesthetic and functional everyday objects can be integrated into the modern world.
